In order to check the appropriateness of the explanatory factor analysis, there are five conditions that must be satisfied as follows:
a) the KMO(Kayser-Meyer-Olkin) value must be higher than 0.5 and the value of Bartlett spherical test must be significant with p-value less than 0.05.
b) Commonality for each measured value should be higher than 0.4
c) Total variance explained for factors should be greater than 0.6 or 60% cumulatively.
d) Reliability analysis should be conducted to show that the value of Cronbach is higher than 0.5.
e) As a final step of the explanatory factor analysis, each extracted factor should be higher than 0.6.
